I love Kino's cool and calm personality and completely composed mannerisms: neutral in both physical appearance and general ideologies, traveling through a seriously messed-up world but simply observing with an accepting disposition rather than ever stepping in to interfere. A quite disturbing childhood has rather desensitized Kino to violence, although at times that spark of human emotion shows through. Not characterized by either manliness or girlishness, being male or female doesn't really seem to matter to Kino, who gets addressed as both throughout the series and doesn't bother making corrections; it really doesn't matter to the audience, either, in terms of being able to relate to and appreciate the struggles of Kino as a character.

1: How long have you been watching anime? Since i was five. 2: What was the very first anime you watched? Do you remember what episode it was? Probably Sailor moon, have no idea what episode! 3. My personal favorite is Yuki of The Wallflower. He always has to dress up as a female because he naturally has soft features and and a girly composure. Soo cute ^-^



If you've ever seen Kashi Mashi, the guy who was made by aliens to look like a girl. He's not really androgynous though, because he is a girl with male parts. I forgot his name, though o.0

Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist

He looks like a female because of his skinny appearance and long hair and his female-like voice (he has a female seiyuu). He was revealed to be a male in the anime.



Edward from Cowboy Bebop

She has a male name and you can't determine at first if she's a girl or boy because of her voice, behavior, and attire. She was revealed to be a girl when Faye was shocked and said that Edward was a girl.

I'm going to go with Chrona from Soul Eater...in the first episodes they couldn't figure out if she was a she or a he...(the characters make note of it a few times)...but later Medusa starts refering to her as her daughter. ^.^'
