What is the anime series ALO?

I saw this picture of two anime series, and it didn't give any of the anime series name at all. All I know is that one was SAO and ALO. I know that SAO is Sword Art Online, but I don't know what ALO is. The character looked sorta like Kirito but a little younger and with elf ears. Thank you to whoever answers my question.

Sword Art Online has two story arcs in it. Episodes 1-14 are the Sword Art Online, or SAO arc, which takes place in the VMMORPG, Sword Art Online. The second arc, which is episodes 15-26, switches video games and takes place in Alfheim Online, or ALO. People tend to refer to these arcs by different names due to the large quality drop in the story between SAO and ALO. However, they are the same exact anime and aren't even in different seasons.
