That's a pretty unique movie, but try:

Air: The Movie

5 Centimetres per second (there's a pile more by this director, too)

Cat Soup (30 minute short film)

EDIT: Maybe you should look at some OVAs and shorter series then? I can't really think of any other feature films which are in this same vein and haven't been mentioned.

Some shorter (nothing over 13 episodes), fun series that come to mind (for me) are:

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (2 eps) & Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou: Quiet Country Cafe (2 eps)

ARIA

Usagi Drop

K-On!

Macross Zero (5 episodes)

Kanon 2002

Sola (similiar to Air, written by Kanon's main writer)

Gunslinger Girl

Zero No Tsukaima

Nyan Koi!

Strike Witches (if you can handle the rather blatant fan-service it's a lot of fun)

Kashimashi (Yuri romance comedy)

Rosario + Vampire (very cute but a fan-service warning too)

Anime features where time travel is an element of the story are not so common.

One of those, however, happens to be my all-time favorite amine film: "Tenchi Muyo! In Love"

The gang from the Tenchi Universe TV series pick up where the final episode left off, when Galaxy Police HQ is destroyed by a monster who wants to make the Jurai Royal family extinct. To this end, he goes back in time and kills Tenchi's mother while she's still in high school. Washu sends everyone back to 1970 to repair the timeline.

Some have made unfavorable comparisons between this movie and "Back to the Future," which is about as lame as saying all time-travel movies ripoff "The Time Machine." I say, you don't have to have seen the TV series to enjoy it. It stands beautifully on its own.

If it doesn't leave you with moist eyes at the end, then you simply have no soul.

Watch all of hayao miyazaki's movies, they are all works of genius. My favourite anime movies of all time are spirited away, howls moving castle, children who chase lost voices from deep below, and the girl who leapt through time.
