Is Elfen Lied worth watching? If so, how scary is it?

Hello! I am a huge anime fan and I really want to watch Elfen Lied. I heard its really scary though, and I am a HUGE fraidy cat. Also, I heard it had lots of nudity... Does it ever show... Umm... You know. I am ok with bare skin, but I'd rather not see breasts or exposed... You know, don't make me explain this. I am ok with violence, and language, however. Thank you :)

The first ten minutes alone are full of more violence, blood and nudity then you'd expect. If you can get through that then you'll be just fine. As for the nudity itself, it only ever shows breasts (uncensored) and well everything except the genitals. So whether or not that bothers you is up to you.



Overall, it is a pretty good show and I'd definitely recommend it. It's not really scary or anything, just very dark and tragic. The only "scary" parts would be if you really disliked the blood and violence.

Elfen Lied is a beautiful anime, the concept of Elfen Lied is so unique and one of the best I've ever come across. It's not that violet to be honest, like yeah the first 10 minutes there is some blood, there are some eyes taken out but Elfen Lied isn't as graphic as Gantz. They don't zoom in on every second of the violence, apart from episode 4. It's not a scary show, it's quite sweet to be honest and tragic. If you can handle Lucy you'll be fine:)))

The only thing worth watching is the opening theme. Other than that, there are no redeeming qualities. The characters were plain and the story wasn't really enjoyable. The art style also seemed out of place when compared to the violence of the series. I know people who like it, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Watch it it is a good anime . And it is not scary it has only lots of blood scenes

its not scary, it just has a lot of blood but its really fun and it even makes you like the "evil killer" character
