What happens if two benders have a baby?

Ok I've been wondering, since the whole Katara,Aang love chronicle. What would happen if two different benders had a baby and it was a bender. What kind would it be. Like a random bender? Never specified on the show

It could go either way, but only one way. And it isn't totally based on genetics. Their children might not even be able to bend. Ursa never showed any bending abilities, but both Zuko and Azula showed master level ability.

well if aang and katara do not have a child that is an airbender than they could be wiped someone else could have an airbending child but after aang dies there will be no one to teach is. bascically if no one has an air bending child before aand dies than no more airbending. but as for the real question it could go either way or no bending child also the water tribe is not made of all waterbenders just like earth and fire. only air has all benders

And wen the baby matures it will unleash a new age of darkness that will shroud the world in pain and misery until enternity
