Naruto Question#9 Like Harry Potter, Naruto has a lot of weaknesses in the storyline, do you know of some?

Don't get me wrong.....I'm a fan of Naruto (and HP as well). I take Naruto by heart...I study every questionalbe detail I see because I believe that a true fan is not someone who just appreciate the beauty of one aspect of the anime/manga...(like the fight scenes, the well-crafted characters, or the stringed plots...) but the wholeness of it. One must look at it holistically and that includes looking at the down side too. No one anime can be called the perfect anime. Of course, there have to be flaws, loopholes, errors, misconceptions, inconsistencies or such...

Now, have you observe any inconsistency or weakness in the story?

I have a few....

Jiraiya as in the final chunin exam arena fighting a large snake, why didn't he helped sarutobi fight orochimaru?..He could have left the snake for a while..besides there ere other konoha ninjas there who could have suppressed the snake even just for a while.

Wow, you're actually thinking like me LOL...I have thought of that too before and my sis even asked me how come Jiraiya didnt help Sarutobi when he has time fighting the big snake?



ok, back to your question, I think it was the whole idea of kishimoto, he wanted Sarutobi to die in the hand of Orochimaru so fans can hate and feel disgusted with Orochimaru's action that's why Jiraiya was not seen helping Sarutobi. And plz remember one thing here..in the anime, the 4 soundless ninjas (Oro's followers) created a shield that cover the whole roof top of the building and the Ambus couldnt even get into the shield formed by the 4 soundless ninja, even one of the ambu got burned attempting to go in there.



I think there is another weakness in the story, Itachi and his team mate (forgot his name) were assigned to capture naruto by the akatsuki's group and they have plenty of time actually to lure Naruto because Jiraiya is always away looking for information (hanging around with pretty girls) and they (itachi and mate) can actually capture naruto in the jungle where he was doing his training.



There is one thing that i dont get, Oro said Itachi is way stronger than him and Itachi says to his mate that they can't beat up Jiraiya because hes stronger...but Oro told Jira that eventhough they are both handicapped (during the battle of the 3 sannins), Oro is still in the upper hand...ok this have been puzzling me for a long time.



I've been studying the plot and every episode of naruto too by replaying and rewatch the anime over and over again.

Orochimaru called Jiraiya as the weakest of the three sannins as jiraiya would always fail at things when a beautiful lady is around ...

when in fact, kakashi as spinning when he threw them...there should have been an angle... reason is likely tat nins can move at very fast speed...and he spun most likely for momentum...

they said that the shadow binding and shadow manipulation jutsu of the nara family was a kekkei genkai...(Kekkei genkai abilities can't be copied or learned by other people not from the clan right?)... reason is likely tat the person was a branch out of the family... or oso can say sub clan ...

why was the rasengan color blue if he was obviously in his kyuubi powered state? ... reason is likely tat it is on water ... and the moulded charaka is a mix of kyuubi n naru ... ratio of color 2:1 ...
