i am really confused about anime expo this year....do you really need an adult to pick up your badge with you? i mean last year, i was 14 at that time, i was with my sis who was 17 but she wasnt exactly right next to me when i picked up my badge and i showed the lady my id and she just casually gave me my badge. i was essentially by myself, but when i hear from others, you apparently have to be with an adult to pick up your badge....btw, if i had a person who is 13 going to anime expo with me, can they just pick up their badge my themselves? the age limit changed apparently.....

There is no age limit. However, if you are under 15, you must have a parent/guardian and 18+.

under no circumstances! truly it really is a own decision like all sort of leisure. yet clone of manga, anime is provided in a huge variety and appeal geared in direction of diverse age communities. the finished problem is that maximum adults come across anime as cartoons and characteristic this concept that cartoons at the on the spot are not something individual might want to exhibit screen. yet in case you imagine about it, who do you imagine makes cartoons and anime? little ones? No, there are people available who've a sturdy pastime and make investments of their destiny to be able to create cartoons and anime as a occupation or life purpose.

Well, I can't say specifically, as I've never been to AX. But "word on the street," if you will, is that AX is tightening their guidelines drastically year by year. Actually, I'm fairly sure some of their board directors got moved around and there's a lot of new management. If you see a lot of rules dramatically changing, that could be why!

I believe you have to be at least 13 to go without an adult, but even if you don't meet the age limit, they never ask for an id...x) (And if they do, THEY SUCK.)
