It's a comic and tv show.

It's about personified countries and the main cast is the axis and allies of WW2. Full explanation here:

Here's a good website with scandalations of linear and non-linear stories of Hetalia.

You can easily watch episodes on youtube or on other anime websites.

Let me tell you about Hetalia, hmm~

Well first off it's about time's in history, portraying every country as a human, in the first season it focuses on World War I and World War II the main 'country' is Italy (Felciano Vargas) for the most part, then you have Germany (Ludwig Beildshmit) and Japan (Kiku Honda). Then the allies, America(Alfred F. Jones), England/Britan (Arthur Kirkland), Russia (Ivan Braginski), China (Yao Wong) France (Francis Bennofoy), and Canada (Matthew Williams). Then there is various countries such as Poland (Feliks Lukaseiwicz ) and Lithuania(Toris Lorianatis). Then there is smaller scenarios in it like 'Chibitalia' where you have the countries when they were a lot smaller, Its during the Italian wars when Italy was taken over by Austria(Roderich), so he had to go live with him and Hungary(Elizaveta Hedervary) and Italy gets a good friend who is Holy Roman Empire(No human name) who looks A LOT like Germany. Which Italy lives with through out most of the show. Season 2 is just various world things, featuring more countries, such as Prussia (Gilbert Beildshmit).

Also, all of the countries are their stereotypes, like America loves to eat burgers and is loud/obnoxious, England see's hallucinations and calls people 'gits' and says bloody a lot and is a bit on the mean side but wants to be a gentleman. For example,

America: 'SUP DUDE'S, THE HERO IS HERE!

England: Oh shut up you bloody fool, no one cares.

America: Englaaand~ Don't be such an *** -pokes-

It's quite an amaazing show and actually helped me in history, it's quite comical as well, being a comedy ahaha.

You should watch it here(Subs and the first few seasons have dub)

It is a anime and manga. Anime, if you didn't know are basically Japanese cartoons, manga are the comic versions, and yes, there are subbed and dubbed versions depending on how you want to "enjoy" them.

It is a show mocking world history, in which the countries are portrayed as people, including Italy (Veneciano Vargas), Germany, Russia (Ivan Braginski), Japan, Canada, America, Belarus, England, etc. They all have human names, I just forgot some, haha.

You can watch it on YouTube, or any anime websites. But YouTube has subbed and dubbed. Just search on YouTube, Hetalia, Funimation episode 1 and make sure its APH/Axis Powers Hetalia: Episode One

Its really funny and I hope you like it, but thanks too retarded not-too-offensive racist remarks, its rated mature, so you'll need to be logged into your YouTube account, reguarding a age over 18, but it's not a bad anime, so it's worth making a new account for.
