The very last episode of Naruto is episode number 220. The difference between Naruto and Naruto Shippuden is there is a time skip between the two. Naruto Shippuden begins 2 1/2 years after Naruto ends. On the very last episode of Naruto, Naruto leaves the Hidden Leaf Village to go train with Jiraiya. Naruto Shippuden begins when he comes back to the village 2 1/2 years later.

Now that Jiraiya's returned, Naruto says his goodbyes and prepares to leave Konoha to begin his training. Then the following episode that starts Naruto Shippuden is Home Coming (221) here is an episode description: Two and a half years have passed since Naruto went with Jiraiya to train. Now he has returned, and although most things are the same, other things have changed. From Konohamaru becoming a genin to Tsunade's head being added to the Great Stone Faces.
