Loveless- (Fantasy/mystery/shonen ai)
On his first day at his new school, twelve year-old Ritsuka Aoyagi meets a mysterious twenty year-old man named Soubi Agatsuma. He claims to be a good friend of Ritsuka's brother, Seimei, who was recently murdered, and the suspicious organization called 'Seven Moons' (, Nanatsu no tsuki?) may be responsible for the death. As Ritsuka quickly finds out, Seimei and Soubi acted as a pair involved in spell battles. Now Soubi is Ritsuka's 'sentoki', or fighter, and Ritsuka is his 'sacrifice'. Together, they challenge the organization to find out the truth behind Seimei's death and the reason for Ritsuka's amnesia, but end up forming an intimate bond with each other as they unravel the mystery.
Monochrome factor- (action/fantasy/shonen ai)
The story revolves around high school student Akira Nikaido, a typical slacker living a normal life. That is, until he meets the mysterious Shirogane, a man who suddenly appears and tells him that they have a destiny together. When Akira hears this, he is shocked and doesn't believe a word of it. Aya, a friend of Akira, forgets something in the school one night, and asks Akira to help her and go find it. He agrees, and while there, he gets attacked by a shadow monster. Shirogane convinces him that the balance between the human world and the shadow world has been distorted and that Akira must become a "shin"- a creature of the shadow world- in order to help restore the balance.
Beserk- (Action/horror/low fantasy)
This is a tale of friendship, betrayal and lots of bloodshed, a tale of a young mercenary named Guts... From the moment he was brought into this world from his dead mother's womb, he has constantly been forced to fight, never owning a single friend in his life. That's until the day we see him fighting a huge armored clad warrior, barely surviving the battle himself. After recieving his reward he leaves and finds himself ambushed by a bunch of mercenaries belonging to the "Band of the Hawks", little did he know that after battling it out with their skillful leader, Griffith, that he would serve under the very man that would one day become his most trusted friend. The tale of Guts has just begun...
Monster- (horror/detective)
Dr. Kenzo Tenma is a young Japanese doctor working at the Eisler Memorial Hospital in Düsseldorf during the 80s. A highly accomplished brain surgeon, he appears to have everything on his plate: a promotion in the offing; the favor of the director of the hospital, Heinemann; and Heinemann's daughter, Eva, as his fiancée. However, Tenma grows increasingly dissatisfied with the political bias of the hospital for treating patients, and seizes his chance to change things after a strange massacre brings the twins Johan and Anna Liebert into his hospital. Johan has a gunshot wound to the head and Anna keeps muttering about killing, and Tenma decides to operate on Johan instead of a prominent politician who arrived afterwards. Johan is saved, but the politician dies. Tenma loses all his social standing and Eva as a consequence. However, Heinemann and other doctors in Tenma's way are mysteriously murdered, and both children disappear from the hospital soon after. The police suspect Tenma, as he benefits greatly from this turn of events, but they have no evidence, and so can do no more than question him.
Ghost in a shell- (drama/mecha)
Ghost in the Shell is a futuristic police thriller dealing with the exploits of Motoko Kusanagi, a member of the covert operations section of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission, Section 9, which specializes in fighting technology-related crime. She may be named after one of the three Imperial Regalia of Japan and Shirow makes reference to them at the end of the second manga. Although supposedly equal to all other members, Kusanagi fills the leadership role in the team, and is usually referred to as "the Major" due to her past rank in the armed forces. She is capable of superhuman feats, and bionically specialized for her job — her body is almost completely mechanized; only her brain and a segment of her spinal cord are organic.
The third- (science fiction/action/comedy)
The series is set many years after a devastating war, which killed 80% of the earth's population. Earth is being watched by a group of beings known as The Third, named after the red eye on their forehead (Space Eye) that can access many types of computer systems. It follows the adventures of Honoka and Bogie.
Honoka is a jack-of-all-trades who travels throughout the barren earth with the help of a sand tank operated by Bogie, an AI. She does various jobs like ridding areas of oversized spiders in order to make a living. One night while traveling through the desert, she comes upon a strange man named Iks. She saves Iks from a group of stigma ants in the vicinity. After saving his life, Iks requests to follow Honoka in her journeys so he can observe the world. During travel or at night, she recites poems by a writer named "Dana Myfree" (exact spelling unknown at this time)
Innocent venus- (mecha/drama/dystopian)
After the world population and economy is devastated by simultaneous hyper-hurricanes, many different factions and fledgling nations appear. In Japan, an elite class called Logos appears, controlling special zones in the country which have most of the wealth and resources. The Logos exercise control over the Levinas, the lower class which struggles day to day in order to stay alive. The Levinas are restricted from entering the special zones, causing tension which creates a resistance group which fights back against the Logos.
Ergo Proxy- (cyber/horror/mystery)
The story begins in a futuristic domed city called Romdo,[1] built to protect its citizens after a global ecological disaster. In this utopia, humans and androids coexist with each other peacefully under a total management system. A series of murders committed by berserk robots infected with the Cogito virus starts to jeopardize the delicate balance of the social order. Behind the scenes, the government is conducting secret experiments on a mysterious humanoid lifeform called Proxy, which is believed to hold the key to the survival of mankind.
Juuousei- (adventure/drama/mystery/science fiction)
Thor and his twin brother, Rai, are cast off to a forsaken planet by unknown masked men after witnessing the suspicious death of their parents. Given only a beam knife and a smelly satchel, they wander together in search of civilization on the primarily plant based world. They soon discover the plants have the advantage. Only the strong survive; the ones who throw away their humanity and become the beasts humans once were.
