Who is the real jellal in fairy tail?

I have been watching and reading Fairy Tale. In many episodes there have been a Jellal/Gerard or what ever his name is. There have been like 5 different ones and i don't know who is real or are they all real. It's really confusing because like 2 of them showed that they liked Erza. One knew the girl who was the sky dragon Wendy. And one was just plain evil. Then there was mystogan. So yeah. Plz help.

Jellal and the "Evil" Jellal are actually the same person, he just did some magic spell to be in two places at the same time, like a doppelganger. The Jellal who Wendy mistakes as Mystogan is actually the Jellal that I was talking about in the first place (he was dead and then she brought him back to life). Erza's childhood Jellal is also the first Jellal that I was talking about.



However, Mystogan is the Edolas version of Jellal.



So basically, there are only two Jellals: the earth version who also had a "clone," died, came back to life, and was Erza's childhood friend and the there's the Edolas version aka "Mystogan."

Jellal is the same as "Mystogan" . Siegrain is just a thought projection now that hes out of the way in Edolas, Mystogans real name was Jellal but changed it to avoid confusion and riot in Earthland and he is the one who knew Wendy Marvell not "Evil Jellal".



The "Evil" Jellal is from Earthland.

Jellal is a childhood friend of Erza Scarlet from their days of slavery who is turned evil by the dark mage Zeref.Siegrain is just a hologram of Jellal. Mystogan is from the Jellal from Edolas. Edolas is like a parallel world to Earthland.

There's only two Jellals/Gerards. The Jellal you met first was a childhood friend of Erza's back when they were slaves into building the Tower of Heaven. After a slave rebellion they managed to escape but Jellal was corrupted by the Black Mage Zeref's spirit (actually it was Ultear posing as it) which caused him to turn evil and tried to finish the Tower of Heaven along with her old friends (who he used, unknowingly to them that they were still slaves). Natsu defeats him in the end though.



Later on Brain (the leader of Oracion Seis) uses Wendy to revive Jellal in hopes that he would know the location of Nirvana. But the explosion of Lachrima in the Tower of Heaven caused him a memory lost, he could only remember the names Erza and Natsu. He regrets for what he has done and the pain he caused and helps Natsu in the end by giving him the Flame of Rebuke, in order to beat Zero. He's arrested in the end. That's about it for the Earthland Jellal.



Now Mystogan is actually the Edolas Jellal, the Earthland Jellal's counterpart in Edolas. He is Faust's (the king) son. He was saved by Panther Lily once. After that he was came to Earthland where he helped Wendy but later on sensed the presence of Anima and left Wendy in the Cait Shelter Guild (which was actually an imitation projected by the Spirit of the Nirvit Roubaul. In the end he stays and rules a magic-free Edolas proving that people can live on without magic by beating the Great Demon Lord (Natsu) without it.
