I just created a flash animation in Adobe Flash CS5, using ActionScript 3.0. The script causes the picture to stop animating as soon as the mouse goes over it, and to start once it leaves the image.
Now that I have this done, how do I export this image so that I can use it on forums and etc?

.swf is the only file that Flash will export to that is interactive (including .exe but that is essentially .swf anyway).
To export to .swf you can simply hit Ctrl+Enter and the file will be created in the same folder as the .fla.
If you're wanting to use this as a forum sig, or something similar, it is unlikely that they will allow you to use a .swf file. They are more likely to ask for .jpg, .png or .gif. Only letdown, is that these files aren't interactive. However, .gifs can be animated.
If you are just looking to attach the file to a post, then .swf should be fine.

nicely frequently you should export it as a .swf report. click on report>Export>Export movie or press Ctrl-Alt-Shift-S and it truly is going to save at as .swf report it truly is a report which will play your animation. As for Youtube, i do not comprehend in the journey that they help .swf archives because i'm now to not attentive to that web site.
