I have a few questions about EV training on Pokemon SoulSilver. The max EV your pokemon can get is 510 right? So after you've maxed out your EV levels, is it safe to just battle any pokemon you want? Also, for stuff like putting pokemon in the day care or using an exp share, does that keep the pokemon's stats from raising as much, or is EVs the only thing affected, which you can make up at anytime? And when someone says their pokemon has "maxed stats," what do they mean, because isn't that impossible without cheating because of the EV limit, or am i missing something? Please help!

Yes its completely safe. After you used up you're ev's your pokemon's stat is permanently raised. Max stats would mean that their pokemon would have the highest stats that their nature could possibly offer. This would also mean that their pokemon have full EV's and Perfect IV's. Note that the IV's your pokemon gets will depend on what nature it has.

No a pokemon purely features evs if it grow to be in that conflict so an exp proportion does no longer something. yet there's a splash trick that in case you turn a pokemon out and then back in for a different pokemon that the initiating the two pokemon earnings EVs and it is not shared so in case you the place to get 2 HP factors from shall we are saying a Gastrodon the two pokemon would get 2 EV factors. additionally wifi and conflict frontier battles do no longer count extensive form purely in pastime wild and coach battles. No clue have not got the pastime yet.

I'm not too sure about the rest of it but usually, at least when I say it, maxed stats means giving a Pokemon as many Carbos, Protein, Zinc and the others as many as you can before it says it won't have any effect. This will raise Defense, Attack, Speed and the others as much as they can go at that level.
