What age should you stop watching anime?

Also do you think it's normal for a 15/16 y/o to watch kiddish animes. Personally I think it has no age bound, but I can't imagine some of my older friends watching it.

You can watch anime as long as you like! There's no age limit to it. Anime aren't just for kids. Actually, most anime are not for kids, since they contain mature stuff (not talking about perverted thing here), I mean the characters are mostly teenagers, so they deal with stuff that teenagers experience, esp those with slice of life genre. Anime is fun, esp when you age and understand things better. So I don't think you should stop watching in your age. I'm 24 and I'm in love with my favorite animes :)

Omg I turned 15 a couple months ago and I love anime I watching it when I was like 13 and I don't think I'll ever stop watching it. Ik some ppl think it's childish cuz of Pokemon or whatever but there are actually a variety of different ones there are even ones with age restrictions on them aimed for older audiences but honestly it doesn't matter. Ik there are even older celebrities who watch anime, It's not like it's making you immature or anything, and it spreads happiness which I think is good so I don't think it matters how old you are

Anime has so much variety that literally anyone at any age can watch it. We have animes for kids like Pokemon. There's romance comedies for teen girls. Sexy ones for guys. And dramas for adults. (I'm not being stereotypical, just being general. I don't want to go to specific detail. Anyone can like any kind of anime :D) "Kiddish" animes I think in my opinion is totally fine if someone, a 15/16 year old, is watching it. Because it's from a different country, the kid shows are different in Japan than anywhere else. But for the animes I'mm watching, the fans are like 15-25 years old.

I m a 50 year old woman who started watching anime when all we had was Speed Racer on UHF. I raised my kids on manga,Anime, sci fi, fantasy comicbooks on purpose. I still watch all of it and found this question looking for some good manga to read. You can like what you want to like for as long as you want to like it. There may come a times when you might put it away for a while then go back and binge read or binge watch. All of this was created to make people happy. If Anime makes you happy dood never give it up. There are millions who feel the same about it who are much older than you.

Anime is simply a medium, just like 3D animation or live action film. People use this medium to create an array of stories, all with different target audiences and genres. Some anime is made particularly for children, some is targeted towards teenagers, and some is targeted towards adults. There are thousands of different kinds of shows out there, and likewise there is no age limit. There is anime for all ages so in all honesty there is no reason to put an age restriction unless you are watching anime porn you should be 18 years or older. Other than that there is absolutely no age restriction for, if you think about it, anime is a form of art.

I watch anime, my 30 year old roommates watch anime my 60 year old parents watch anime. I promise there is no age restriction, for any anime. If you feel that your friends will think you childish for watching anime when you're older then I promise they're not good friends and there will be plenty of other people at your school who will love that you also watch anime.

im 36 and i'm still watching anime to this day and don't think ill ever stop, there are so many out there, why do people thing you have to stop at any age, you may want to have a look at some of the Manga flims out there, i know if you say Manga to older people the 1st thing they think of is (sex) but that is not what Manga is about (not all of it). look at flims like Apple seed, Street fighter, Ghost in the shell and Akira.they are works of art.without them we wouldn't have all the ones we have today.
