Question:
Anime suggestions for Netflix?
?

Okay, so I just got done watching Deathnote and Darker Than Black which are kind of depressing animes but they're good. And I've been trying to find some lighter or more amusing animes, something like Special A, Maid-Sama or Ouran High Host Club, on Netflix. I guess my problem is that every time I look through Netflix for something that's not depressing the anime just ends up being entirely stupid or it's something I've already seen. Just for the record, I'm not at all interested in watching anything like Dragonball Z, Naruto or Inyuyasha.

So, like I said, I'd prefer it be a title available on Netflix instant but at this point I'll take whatever suggestions you have.

((Here's a list of the animes I can remember having seen so they don't get suggested. Darker Than Black, Sekirei, Fruits Basket, Deathnote, Fairy Tail, Maid-sama, Special A, Ouran High School Host Club, FLCL, XXXholic, School Rumble and I'm sure there are more that I can't remember right now.))

If you think those shows are depressing, you have another thing coming. I'm not sure if netflix has them, but watch the shows Clannad and Kanon. They are sad shows that can make the manliest of men want to break down in tears. Believe me, they are amazing. If you want something dark, I would suggest Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. This is a horror anime, just to warn you in advance. However, if you are considering taking a turn and watching something more lighthearted, I would suggest watching Azumanga Daioh, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Hayate the Combat Butler, Angel Beats, and Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou. I'm sure one of these shows has to be on Netflix, or you can watch them online.
