Disney and nick used to be for little kids.. It was for like spongebob Mickey mouse and little kid shows.. They used to have nick jr and playhouse Disney but it's not like that anymore.. What happened to blues clues and the rolly Polly ollies? It's now for teenagers and adults its like there are no kids channels anymore.. what are our 9 and down kids supposed to watch.. Walt Disney originally created Disney for kids.. I honestly think Disney and nick SUCK AND SHOULD NOT BE ON TV CAUSE IT IS STUPID!!

I know how you feel. I miss shows on Disney Channel like Thats So Raven, Sister Sister, Smart Guy, Lizzy Maguire, Rugrats and many more shows that were actually funny. I mis shows on Nickelodeon like Kenan and Kel, All That, Amanda Show, Hey Arnold. Now a days all the the actors on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel show way too much skin, crack the cheesiest jokes, use fake laughs, can't dance, can't sing, can't act, and are just plain have no talent. I miss shows good shows from the 90s up until 2005.

Disney is making a new channel just for the little kids -.- it's like when MTV did MTV2 haha

I remember when those channels were for little kids too though the shows you named I was already an adult (getting old is crap).

I think it's because younger and younger kids want to act older and older so they market 'older' shows to the same young demographics. I mean in my generation 16 was early to have sex now-a-days some kids are starting as early as 11, I saw a girl at the pharmacy the other day picking up birth control and she didn't look old enough to have her period (not because I'm THAT old, she really was that young) it's terrifying.

What one poster said about the shows being on earlier in the day/midday is correct though :)

I see a lot of Dora the Explorer and Bob the Builder on in the mornings before work, they seem pretty child friendly I know my youngest nephew loves Bob the Builder and some cartoon that has a weird amorphous blob animal thing (I couldnt guess what this 'animal' was if someone paid me)

Kind of agree, I really wish Disney would make 101 Dalmatians the Series Complete DVD or Timon Pumbaa the Complete Series DVD, and other popluar classic of 90s & 2000s early Disney animation been on DVD just like Cartoon Network & Nickelodeon does. At least I got Hey Arnold Season 1 DVD & CatDog Season 2 Part 2 DVD on last year of Summer ago, 2013 summer was luckiest happens to me when I did saw Hey Arnold, CatDog, Rugrats on Teen Nick, and Timon & Pumbaa & 101 Dalmatians the Series on Disney Jr Channel.

I agree with you. Nick and Disney used to have BOTH live-action sitcoms and cartoons. They were in good proportion to each other. Cartoons mostly during the day, and in the evening closer to night they would air the sitcoms. Even the sitcoms were very high quality, good shows. Ex: Smart Guy, Boy Meets World, Thats so Raven.

But then came along Hannah Montana, which caused an explosion of these crappy "teeny-bopper" sitcoms. (ok idk for sure if hannah montana is the one to blame, but i think it is.) Now EVERY show on these channels is a fkin shtty sitcom. They all look the same, they all take place in the same godddam school. At least the ones we had back then were good shows, but these new shows look exactly the same. Also, the old shows had nice appealing video quality, but these new shows have such BRIGHT colors popping into my eyes, i get eye cancer just watching it.

sh!t man, fck modern childrens shows

No need to worry they are still on. They play all those kid shows in the mornings, even on weekends. If you tune in in the mornings and look through the playlist they should be there. The target audience just got bigger and ages expanded so the shows did as well. Some shows like blues clues are no longer played because their contract expired or they just never got called back for another season, but I know alot of shows are available on applications like netflix.

They do what appeals to the new generation. Obviously you're not in that generation so you're no one to talk. =)
