ok, I am currently buying bleach box sets because I do enjoy the series and I will tend to watch it every few months. But recently, I been thinking about selling the Bounts fillers and just stick to the main plot because there are going to be alot of bleach box sets considering Viz Media being a little greedy by splitting the seasons up. There are about 300 episodes of bleach so far and maybe half of them or less are fillers. I don't mind the fillers but since there are a lot of episodes which will lead to a lot of box sets, I won't be watching all the episodes very often if there are 300 episodes you know. I was thinking about skipping all of the filler box sets and buy the ones that are related to the plot. It will save me a lot of money and I can watch them more often if there are less episodes. What do you think I should do? Should I skip the fillers and buy only the ones related to the main plot? I don't want to shell money on box sets that I will watch maybe three or four times a year you know. The less episodes means I will watch them more often like maybe seven or eight times a year instead of three.

I would most definitely leave out the fillers, seasons 4 and 5 surround the Bount Story line and OMG they suck!! I love Bleach but I will never wast my time and watch them again. Season 9 was The New Captain Shūsuke Amagai Arc and, in my opinion, it's better then the Bount story but still not that good. Now on the other hand season 13 is the Zanpakuto filler story arc and its actually pretty darn cool, by far the best filler so far, but that's a pretty far ways into the series. My point being, no you don't need to buy filler or even watch them for that matter. If you stick to the main plot the series will still make sense and you'll probably like it more.

Skip the fillers. They are a serious waste of money.
