I've seen many good anime series. Samurai 7, Full metal alchemist, desert punk, darker than black etc...... I'm looking for another good anime to watch that is in a similar genre to these.

Elfen Lied is the dumbest anime ever. In the first episode the beginning is awesome all bloody and stuff then the entire anime is this freakin girl acting like a dumb idiot saying neew, neew!!! Then it trys to add some love story that happened in their childhood... ugh, so retarded. I do not suggest buying Elfen Lied.

The good sh!t are Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, FLCL, Samuari Champloo and for the cutesy stuff "Lucky Star", Makai Senki Disgaea.

Oh, "junkers come here" just awesome I recently saw. Spirted Away is a movie only - real awesome.

Eve No Jikan - It's a straight up science fiction set in a near future where sentient androids are prevalent amongst society but are treated as objects by most. It addresses the complicated relationships between man and machine that arise as a result. It's very intelligent, very well plotted, very witty, comedic when it needs to be, and one of the most beautifully animated anime of all time. It's also only a six episode miniseries. Watch it. Do it now.

Black Lagoon - Quentin Tarantino style Anime full of violence and swearing. It's about a group of modern day pirates who navigate the criminal underworld of the fictional Thai city of Roanapur. Again it's intelligent and well plotted, and unlike most shows has a very good English dub. It's not for the little ones though.

Ghost In The Shell: Standalone Complex - A reboot of one of the most influential works of cyberpunk. Another very intelligent science fiction that follows an elite police team in a future where large segments of the population have artificial bodies and even artificial brains.

Those three are what I thought of when you said Darker Than Black.

Sword of the Stranger and Afro Samurai are both good series for Sword Fights...

Code Geass- A mecha type series, if you like that. But it's not over mecha-ey... If that makes sense :D And it's about a guy who wants to change the world.

Black Butler- So very, very awesome! My favorite anime :)

Nabari No Ou- Another really good one. It's about Samurai's.

Eden of the East- Another show about changing the world.

some good ones are:

inuyasha (a classic dealing with demons and whatnot)

death note (really demented has shimigami that love apples, and some scary genius guy who kills people by writing their names in a book, a death note- very complicated plot)

naruto (of course, all about the ninjas, though the main character- naruto- seems nothing like a real nnja)

code geass ( a guy who was a former prince now with a magical eye trying to kill his father who is the king, and take everything over to create a better world for his younger blind crippled sister, also a very well developed plot)

zatch bell (about these beings kinda like shimigami that come to the real world and have 'masters' who can read their books and make them do powerful attacks, they must fight and destroy eachothers books and winner becomes king)

claymore (women who are half demon/yomi who fight and kill real human eating demons/yomi, really good fight scenes)

Mushishi (deals more with supernatural and spirit creatures called mushi)

see if you like any of them
