Had you ever wanted a manga and or anime to end differently?

Question

We have all possibly come across manga and or anime that had endings that sit to well with us. Have you ever encountered an anime and or manga that ended in a way you did not like? In what way would had been nice for the series to end?

Anime:

-Ouran High School Host Club: A HUG? Just a freaking HUG? You must be kidding me. It should have ended somehow like in the manga, but with a little twist. (Oh wait... the manga was still running by that time, hehe oops).

-School Days: I feel so... depressed. I wasn't expecting that. There was a nice boat, but I don't like sad endings. Matoko should have stayed with Kotonah, sorry, I don't like threesomes D:

-Love Hina: In the manga *super duper spoiler* Keitaro and Naru get married -.-, not fair. The anime should have ended the same way.

-Ah! My Goddess: "...I love you..." *Fainst*, the end -.-. No freaking kiss, no freaking proposal, no freaking wedding. And yet, Belldandy and Keiichi will somehow stay together forever.

-Itazura na Kiss: Meh, it wasn't that bad, but I wanted to see what else happened with "their" daughter (forgot the names... tehe).

-Onegai Teacher: Too short -.-. And it seemed like a regular episode, not an official ending, I don't know how I would improve it though :3.

-Inuyasha: Uhmm... who am I kidding? I actually loved this ending! Sango and Miroku, how much fun are you having OR planning to have? ;) And ROFL @ Kagome: "Onii-chan!" *Seshomaru stares...*. Yeah, I'm trying not to spoil anything.

Manga:

-Ouran High School Host Club: Just ONE single chapter about the host club's future , ONE please. The ending was beautiful, but I wanted moar T_T, for me it wasn't an actual ending. It would have been better if 10 years passed or something like that, and the characters' lifes as adults were shown.

How many times do you watch the opening and ending of anime? - I'll watch the beginning a lot, since I'm usually too lazy to skip it, but I'll only watch the ending song maybe once, and if I don't like it I'll never watch it again. 7. Which anime ending annoys you more: 6.1. unfinished ending or some scene in the future, where you will never understand what happened to the main characters? 6.2. rushed ending or anime that ends differently than manga (anime ends, but manga is still ongoing)? - I'd go with the first one, because if the second one happens - which it does a lot and it annoys me - I can just read the manga and by fully satisfied. 7. Which anime made you feel sad - Chrno Crusade frustrated - Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien (bad ending. ugh.) angry - School Days. (Because I watched the thing for a friggin' out of place blood bath at the end) or to see more after finishing it? - Princess Tutu (Good ending, but I wish I could have seen more.) [Extra Question!!!!!!] In your opinion, what are some anime that any true anime fan MUST definitely see? - Hm.... well, I think it depends on the type of person who is watching the anime. If anything I think Code Geass fits most categories, and it's a very, very good anime itself, so I would say that. I'd also say Umineko, because while it's slightly twisted it's very good and doesn't get the credit it deserves. So, if they must see it, then that would help xD.

The way Yu Yu Hakusho ended...It's a happy ending, but it still makes me cry. For me, I think that a manga should continue even after it's ended, but I do appreciate the fact that the artist doesn't want to go on and on with one book his/her whole life. (Trust me - usually I get bored of the books I write after a few months...) But Yu Yu Hakusho's ending didn't strike me as an actual ending. You know how you get that feeling, that something is just way too open-ended, like the ending of the first Kingdom Hearts? I actually appreciate that feeling in this case, as it makes me feel less guilty about drawing fanfictions (haha, a fangirl being guilty about drawing fanfic), but I really do wish it had been more of an actual ending.

Kuroshitsuji 1 and 2 (aka Black Butler)

The ending in season 1 left me depressed until I heard about season 2.

The ending in season 2 left me irritated with everyone.



Pandora Hears ending was boring.



Ouran shouldn't have ended.



Berserk ended with the everyone I had loved ----- and the guy I thought was so cool....

I shouldnt spoil but I will say that I hated this ending alot.

Ok, I'm pretty sure anyone that's read the manga "Absolute Boyfriend" will agree with me on this, it's seriously one of the best romance manga EVER! but in the end the main character's real love dies..... and it's so frikin SAD!!!!

code geass, the whole killing him will "rid the world of evil" idea kind of ticked me off and they could have just have just ended it where lelouch could ruled the world ^^.Fruit basket ended with so many loose ends which upset me. Flame of recca really pissed me off where all the characters lost their powers and had to live normal lives. Not sure if this counts but taking out the whole second season of darker than black, wasn't as good as the first season and the first season had a better ending in my opinion. I have so many more that I can't think of off the top of my head T.T

I didn't want Yuuki to go with Kaname in Vampire Knight (Guilty)

I didn't want the ending of Macross Frontier to be undesided and wanted Ranka and Alto to get together
