Anything that was on Nick and Cartoon Network in the 90's was amazing. And a few of the things on the Disney Channel & Fox - RECESS, Pepper-Ann, Digimon.

I also like the BeetleJuice cartoon and Grave-Dale High but I don't remember what channel they were on.

The only thing I can think of in the 2000's is Spongebob and a few non-cartoons like Malcolm in the Middle, Modern Family.

The BEST:

Tom And Jerry

The Simpsons

Rugrats

Rocko's Modern Life

Ren And Stimpy

Beavis And Butthead

Hey Arnold

Dexter's Laboratory

Ed Edd N Eddy

South Park

Family Guy

Invader Zim

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends

Adventure Time

you forgot; Courage The Cowardly Dog , Doug , and CatDog.

I think that the most widely remembered will be ;

Beavis and Butthead

Family Guy

Invader Zim

Adventure Time

My Little Pony: FiM

reasons: Beavis and Butthead & Family Guy are both TV shows that are hilarious and are extremely well known to this day. Invader Zim is also extremely popular, especially this year, 2012, because there are many rumors of the possible revival :D its also my personal favorite. Adventure Time has a huge fanbase and that show will last for probably as long as Spongebob has so far. And, MY Little Pony was first made somewhere during 1989, and the ponies keep evolving year by year by year.

hope i helped ! :3

First off. Just to set the record straight, and you are not the first person to do this, notoriety means fame but not it a good way. When you say someone is notorious for something, that means they are known for a bad thing. But my answer is Futurama, Spongebob, The Simpsons, Rugrats, Yogi Bear, Tom and Jerry, Popeye, Dexter's Laboratory, Captain Planet, and Scooby-doo. All these are great animated shows and will definitely be remembered. I would consider myself to have a little bit of a cult following sort of attitude towards Futurama.

The Simpsons is a classic. It is regarded as one of the greatest TV shows of all time and will be used to study American culture. Most other cartoons are disposable, with the exception of Mickey And Friends, Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes and Betty Boop.

i think of in 10-15 years they are going to be... superb now 80's songs are seen classic rock and the 90s are up next. superb now older human beings won't desire to settle for The Smashing Pumkins as classic rock as a results of their option angst, yet that's hypocritical on the grounds that option 70's rock bands like night Oil or 80's Billy Idol are seen classic rock. It merely takes time for issues to alter into "classic". those are good songs you picked too.
