I haven t watched a good anime in a long time. Got any for me?

I like anime that aren t too crazy, or outrageous. I like them if they have good story lines. Examples of ones I ve severely enjoyed and watched:

Heroic Age, Naruto, Death Note, Tiger & Bunny, Claymore, Princess Jellyfish, Toriko (one of the nuttier ones), Kirepapa, Wolf s Rain, Love Stage, Junjou Romantica, Mushishi, Wolf Children, Summer Wars, Attack on Titan, etc...

I don t really like "magical girl" anime, or fanservice ones. I don t like nutso female leads.

Got anything for me?

The first anime I ever watched really was Soul Eater. This show was by far the most amazing thing I've ever watched. I enjoyed it so much and rewatched it 3 times! But I would highly recommend the Dub version which you can find on Netflix. The style is a bit different but it's easy to adjust to. I also really liked Sword Art Online, it had a great plot and can also be found on Netflix, and there is a very funny remake of it on YouTube. Another good one is The Devil Is a Part-Timer. This was great and can be found on Netflix aswell, but will be removed very soon. My little monsters was also really good, also on Netflix. I also really liked Tokyo Ghoul, I watched the dub version on Kiss Anime (a website for free anime).

I hope this helped!

Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple was the first I ever watched and I still revisit it every now and again. It's about a kid who is taking martial arts lessons from masters who may as well be immortal. He has to fight school bullies and other people including the Chinese Mafia and one of his childhood friends who founded a martial arts gang. It was a pretty good story and was a good mix of classic school kid anime with action and excitement.

Owari no seraph- The story follows the story of a 12 year old boy named Yuichiroa. He lives in a world were a virus has spread and killed everyone except children 13 and under. If they refuse or defy the vampires they will be killed.

Future Diary(Mirai Nikki) - This is about a boy named Yukiteru who is a loner and spend all his time writing a Diary on his phone. He also spends a lot of time talking to his imaginary friends Deus who is the god of space and time and his assistant Murmur. It turns out that these two were actually real. Deus gives Yukiteru a phone that tells him the future within a 90 day span. Deus also forces him to compete in a battle royal with 11 other people to decide who will become the new god of space and time. Each of the other contestants also have a diary that tells the future in a unique way. To win the completion you have to kill the other players and be the last one standing. If the winner is not determined within 90 days deus will die and the world will end.

Fullmetal alchemist Brotherhood -This is about two brothers Edward and Alphonse who lived with their mom and dad. One day their dad leaves for some unknown reason. Soon after their mom falls ill and dies. In an effort to try and bring her back they learn alchemy and try to perform a forbidden alchemic technique called human transmutation. This back fires on them. Due to the law of alchemy which is equivalent exchange (In order to get something, something of equal value must me lost) Alphonse lost his body and Edward lost his left leg. Edward also scarifies his right arm to rescue Alphonse's soul and seals it in a suit of armor.

Inuyasha- Its about a girl in high school that finds a well that takes her back in time. She meets a half demon named inuyasha. She learns that he was sealed to the tree for 50 years until she came and broke it. They travel together trying to search for shards of a jewel that is said to grant any wish you want. It was proven that anyone who comes in contact with the jewel will suffer a great deal of pain (a curse) The jewel waits for the one person who will make that one wish that will break the curse .

My Little Monster is fantastic, and based on what you say, I think you'd like it. Along with Naruto, it's my favorite, the plot is great. It's pretty short and it's subbed on Netflix. If you haven't checked out Sword Art Online, watch that one too. It gets a lot of hate from elitists, but I thought it was good. Noragami and Noragami Aragoto are really good. Also, if you haven't watched Bleach, that's another great one.

Satoshi Kon is an amazing Japanese animator, but he makes feature-length films. I'd suggest "Tokyo Godfather", "Perfect Blue" and "Millennium Actress." The latter two have female leads, but are really good. My favorite is Perfect Blue.

Well actually, I would definitely recommend you the new Dragon Ball series Entitled Dragon Ball Chou(Means "Super")... If you watched and liked Naruto, then you'd definitely love Dragon Ball Super... Its basically about a non-human raced guy named "Goku" who keeps saving the earth from villains, however, I don't recommend you watch it if you haven't watched Dragon Ball Z yet..
