why is liking the show invader zim EMO?

EVERY ONE SAYS INVADER ZIM IS AN EMO SHOW!!! i dont understand it its funny a mean but idk why its "emo" if you where GIR shirts your emo anything zim related is emo why i dont get it

I don't think it's "emo". Alot of emos like it, but so do alot of people. But, it is a cult show, and so merchandise is sold at shops like Hot Topic, and that is associated with emos. Also, its not really "mainstream" and isn't the type of thing that everyone likes, so those that don't like it just group it into something else they don't like or get.

Also, Invader Zim is awesome!

probably because of the teric atmosphere in the cartoon

since it is dark then that's probably why they say it is emo

but it is not it is really awesome xD
