I'd have to say the best (IN MY OPINION) is a show like Phantom~Requiem for the Phantom~, Trigun, Katanagatari, or Alien Nine.

I have to say the worst (AGAIN: IN MY OPINION) is something like Popee the Performer, Funny Pets, or something like Yosuga No Sora.

I REALLY LOVE SOUL EATER AND OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB!!!



I really connected to Soul Eater's character Crona, which made me enjoy the show even more. He is so unique and very strange!

Ouran High School Host Club is very neat and so so soooo funny.

BEST: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood -- followed the manga loyally; amazing characters (all were essential elements to the plot/ no one was useless); amazing plot (It's like a spider's web, all points in the story led to a neat sewing/ending); no significant plot holes to be found (just shows how greatly detailed, refined and flawless the storytelling is)



WORST: Needless -- can't really say for sure but I dropped it after watching the first episode

I'd hesitate to list any anime that are still airing since they could get better or worse. With that in mind I'd say that my favorite anime was Azumanga Daioh and my absolute worst was the Training with Hinako series.

The characters in AD are believable and kids you could image going to school with. The comedy is excellent and supported by a terrific cast of seiyū. The BGM really compliments the whole series. And just as important is it's high rewatchability.

The reason I chose Training with Hinako is it's completely inane with no inherent value. Even as an ecchi it fails (and that's pretty hard to do). Even worse, after making one that was pointless, they went ahead and made 2 more, each being more pointless than the previous one. There are some really bad anime out there and I've probably seen them and I can assure you that this is one title you can safely ignore.

Best: No.6, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Blue Exorcist, Deadman Wonderland, Claymore, Bakuman, Death Note, Pale Cocoon, Eve no Jikan, Princess Mononoke, Grave of the Fireflies,



Worst: Code Geass, Planetes (manga was good though), Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, X-Men, Kimi ga Nozumo Eien, Ikoku Meiro no Croisée, Whisper of the Heart, Ouran High School Host Club, Fruits Basket.



Somewhere in between: Darker than Black, Eve no Jikan, Fairy Tail, K-On!,



Can't say for sure on these because they're still ongoing, but Guilty Crown, Mirai Nikki and Hunter X Hunter 2011 are pretty good so far. But a certain character in Mirai Nikki is really doing my head in at the moment.

According to my tastes:



Best: Legend of the Galactic Heroes (story and character wise) tied with Evangelion (especially with the movies) and Rurouni Kenshin (amazing action and characters). I give steins;gate an honorable mention since it's a recent spring/summer anime, but not the best ever for sure.



Current anime I find best is One Piece. It has a great cast, and a great story, which potentially could continue to go on for a long time without running out of high quality material. The new show Mirai Nikki is really good as well and the new Fate/Zero anime is going strong.





Worst ever: Mars of Destruction tied with Apocalypse Zero with Green Green as a runner up

Let's just say they have no plot, are mindless (in a bad way) and cause cancer.

i can't really answer for the best anime part their are just so many great ones it's impossible to choose!

but the worse i ever watched were : straweberry panic, 100% ichigo (i don't know why i dropped it after the third ep alot of people liked it but i just couldn't continue watching it!) and ken the surviver (even though it made me laugh because of my sister's expression she was so shoked!! she's so innocent! and the noices he make while fighting are just too much for me to handle!)

Um. I like D. Gray-man because it's so awesome! It's about innocence and how the main character is cursed so he can see "akuma" which is a weapon made by the earl. I just like violence and seeing fights. Plus i love kanda. so yeah... enough reason for me. and i like the main character's master XDDD so funnieh!! so much debt placed on the main character it's so sad but funny XDDD



Meh like Bleach. We all know it's plain awesome.

There is no "best" or "worst" anime ever... It just depends on your preference because what is the best for me, may be the best for someone else. But these are my opinions:



Best: Bleach, Hell Girl/Jigoku Shoujo, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and Lucky Star

Worst: One Piece, YuGiOh, and Bobobo bobobobo... I have tried to watch them, but they just weren't my type of anime :P

Best: hm... One Piece- love the characters and the plot (for mainstreams) Baccano!- i love the art, the plot line is confusing at first but i go back and watch it all the time... its one of the best series ever in my mind at least (for non-mainstreams)

Worst: Naruto- good at first....now it just going on and on (for mainstreams) Gravitation- english voices suck!! i also dont like the art (for non-mainstreams)
