So, I found the serial number (on the back of the disc cover for the disc for mac) and I used it a while ago for Anime Studio Debut 7 on my family computer since I had no computer of my own. Now I have my own computer (a Macbook Pro) and need the serial number, but I can't tell what exactly to put in. I don't know whether to put in everything that's in boldface, or just the first thing that looks like a serial number, or the second thing that looks like a serial number, or both things that look like a serial number... I've tried multiple combinations and ways of typing each thing, but I get the same error messages every time: Your serial number could not be saved. Be sure to run Anime Studio as an administrative user when entering your serial number.
and then: You have not entered a valid serial number. Try again or press Cancel to run Anime Studio in trial mode.
I don't understand what the first one is about, since there are no other users on my computer, and I am the one and only administrative user. I'm worried that I either can't use the serial number any more since I used it on my family's computer already (although I doubt that's the case) or that I need a different serial number for a mac or something. Please help me, this thing is driving me insane!

I would still recommend contacting Smith Micro software for support, they maybe able to help you solve your issue and get you to remove AS7 from your family's computer and install on your Mac Book Pro... Here's how to reach them... https://support.smithmicro.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2353

ASD 7 is a 1 program for 1 computer kind of thing. You've used your serial number already so it won't take on your new computer.
