It's not really anime most of the time, it's almost certainly hentai. But sometimes you do come accross actual anime shows with women with big breasts. This is becuase there are those kind of people in the world. Just because they were born with big breasts doesn't make them a pornstar does it? In anime, you need a whole range of people because everyone is different.

I'm guessing because the Japanese find their sexual outlets in different ways then Americans and that alot of anime is not meant for children just because it's animated. There are video games in Japan that are extremely sexual that were obviously not released in other countries.

Because its their drawing style and their business how they wanna draw their characters. And because women with big breasts and slim waists are considered to have the "ideal figure" thats why a lot of models have these features, animes just exaggerate this a bit. Or would you rather see fat girls on these animes? I dont. Why does Squidward have no pants on? Why do they use paper cutouts for South Park? How about that show Home Movies that all characters have the same color hands and legs as their clothes? Its all their own drawing style and their business. If you dont like anime drawing style then dont walk through the anime section of the book store.

Asian girls alot of times do have tiny waists and big boobs. That's a stereotype, but it's kinda true.And Japanese school uniforms usually are a skirt that is above the knee.

In a cartoonish drawing, everything is stylized, so that it's easy to recognize what it is. In anime young people have very large eyes, and old people have small ones. Men usually are drawn very angular, while woman are very curvy, so that you can just look at the picture and see exactly what's going on.That's just the drawing style. That's how anime looks. American cartoonists do it too, it's just that you're more used to it, and it's less shocking when you see it.



Japanese culture is not as prudish as ours. If you look inside some manga there might be naked chicks and stuff, but thats' because that sort of thing is not a big deal in Japan. It also depends on the induvidual artist. Some of them like to draw girls that way some don't.



There are different genres too.Shonen is for boys, and is usually some sort of action adventure type thing. Shojo is for girls and is usually a romance type thing, but without all the sexuality. Then there is stuff for adults too, which can be lots of different things like Sci-fi, fantasy, romance and different things, but is not sexual like porn. There are sports mangas and anime. Then there is hentai, which is like anime porn, and definitly not for kids.
