I have watched the movie in 3d at sathyam cinemas and INOX.. Both places I have noticed lack of continuity and clarity during the fast moving scenes such as the part where the black beast chases the hero for the first time where he escapes to a water fall. Everything was just blur and nothing was properly visible. I assume this has to do with the capacity of the projector or something.

And though the 3D was very good, there was very little out of the screen experiences if any at all.. I dodged when the first gas shell from the helicopters was fired to the tree of the natives. But I have seen 3D movies of early 80's which had effects like things just jumping out of screen.

I still think I can get same or better effect on some better theaters with AVATAR.

I am now planning for some iMax 3D.. to find out how good that is..

Walking out of the IMAX 3D theater at half past midnight on Sunday did not prove to be the most opportune time to process James Cameron's new film. I knew I just experienced something refreshing that left me with a good feeling afterward, but not until I thought through the material again that afternoon did I find myself more and more admiring the work.

i think of the digital 3-D makes use of the comparable reveal as different video clips. The IMAX 3-D makes use of a plenty extra desirable reveal (probably extra desirable than a rigidity in reveal indoors). The IMAX theater I even have been to is approximately thrice the dimensions of a everyday theater, making you sense such as you're interior the direction of the action picture moreso than everyday 3-D.
