I just finished Angel Beats and want to know how other people thought of the ending. To me it was a good ending and a bad ending

I don't think it was bad, however it was quite sad. I hate how everyone just left, I kinda wish they could stay in the afterlife and be friends forever. I don't like the fact that they just left us hanging there when the guy who MIGHT haven been Otonashi and the girl who MIGHT have been Tachibana meet in the "real world". I hate open endings like that, but I still think it was good.

I think it was the perfect ending. I mean, it's safe to assume the people at the end were indeed Otonashi and Kanade. Their faces obviously weren't shown because, well, they were reincarnated and probably look completely different then they did in the Afterlife. As a matter of fact, the girl might have been Otonashi and the guy could have been Kanade haha.

While the ending was spot on, I didn't like the way most of the character backgrounds were left unexplained. There's suppose to be a Angel Beats visual novel coming out, so maybe that will explain things. There's a short OVA of a different epilogue to Angel Beats, so if you thought the original ending was sad, that one is ten times sadder.

BIG plothole.

Sad.

Here is the plothole:

"Okay, so I thought this over. I want to know how they worked out Otonoshi's organs being given to Kanade when they act like Kanade has been there a LONG time. They have her there before Otonoshi was there so I think it was a nice idea and all but did anyone else think about that? "

Also, here are some anime if you liked that one:

Elfen lied

Clannad

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan

Elfen lied is gorey but has feels. More feels at the end of the manga.

Clannad has feels. It was made by the people that made angel beats.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan is basically Angel Beats + Elfen lied put into one anime. It has funny moments and the end of season 1 is sad.

*SPOILER ALERT*

It was a tragic ending. I like how they where in in the gym and graduating themselves. I think it was very creative and saddening. When Yuzuru and Kanade where in each others arms that was really sad. And when Kanade vanished and Yuzuru was left on the ground crying my heart broke :(

I really want to see more. I think it was at the end of the episode it showed an extra scene of them in another world and Yuzuru goes to grab a girls hand which looks like Kanade. It looked like a really colourful peaceful place, so if there's another season it might be a more peaceful theme.

The ending left me wanting more!
